Release Engineer

Job Summary
The Release Engineer provides support to Agile Teams as their product increments are integrated, validated and delivered to our customers. A Release Engineer embodies the DevOps culture, collaborating deeply with Development and Operations to build and maintain a Continuous Delivery Pipeline. The position will be responsible for building and maintaining development environment infrastructure, promotion and validation of product increments through the Pipeline.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a Continuous Delivery Pipeline; set up infrastructure for continuous integration, automated builds and build verification testing; create systems, utilities and scripts for automated deployment.
  • Improve existing source code management practices including merging and branching models. Help get all code and configuration managed in source control system.
  • Lead Release planning, deploy and verify software into target environment in collaboration with members of the Engineering team. Continuous improvement of release process including automation, tools and methods; post deployment verifications.
  • Create and run system-level integration scripts or integrate manually where automation is not possible or hasn’t yet been applied.
  • End-to-End and System Performance Testing; Test system performance against non-functional requirements and assist architects in identifying system shortfalls and bottlenecks; participate backlog refinement to define integration and testing stories; Create automated test scenarios.
  • Design and introduce software configuration management tools and practices.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years software engineering experience with 3 years as a Build/Release Engineer; strong knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment; good understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming concepts.
  • Expertise with Software Configuration Management/Application Lifecycle Management tools. Team Foundation Server preferred.
  • Experience with IIS Administration
  • Experience with C# and SQL.
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of software delivery processes – ability to work both independently and in an agile team environment
  • Good communication, analysis and documentation skills.
Senior Director of Sales

Senior Director of Sales

Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Senior Director of Sales will implement the growth strategy for PNT Data by actively soliciting prospects and obtaining new business for our products while also maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customer base where and when appropriate

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement sales short term and long term strategic plan
  • Collaborate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales
  • Contribute to the development of sales materials and artifacts
  • Meet sales and service goals and objectives set by management
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Participate in the development and review of new marketing/promotional pieces
  • Work with development team to ensure promotion of products under development and maintain cutting edge understanding of industry
  • Prepare and present status reports to VP of Sales as requested
  • Utilize Salesforce effectively and daily/weekly for tracking and reporting all sales related activity
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, competitive intelligence and/or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Inform management team of competitors’ activities and review market research studies. Recommend actions accordingly
  • This role will have access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and confidential information. All employees will be required to successfully complete and comply with company provided HIPAA Privacy and Security training annually

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ years in consultative selling roles with particular emphasis on healthcare technology
  • Demonstrated technical/software sales and sales management experience
  • Successful track record developing strong relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare payer industry and in-depth knowledge of processes impacted by data movement.
  • Understanding of Saas and Cloud technology a plus
Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary
The Senior Software Engineer works independently and within a team to design, develop, and maintain complex applications that support PNT Data’s existing software solutions and the growing portfolio of service offerings.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and developing applications with n-tier architecture which includes .Net technologies, XSLT, http/https web entry points, and database objects.
  • Possessing strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex application designs for peer design reviews, documentation, management discussion purposes.
  • Working independently and within an agile team environment on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assisting other team members on short notice as needed.
  • Independently and continually learning and acquiring new technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Troubleshoot escalated Production issues with permission to read diagnostic data from the Production environment. Changes to Production are controlled through the Release Management process.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Data Transformations using XSLT, XPath, Regular Expressions, Scripting.
  • Proficiency with C#, WCF, Web Services, and XML.
  • Experience with SQL Server database programming, including design of tables, views, stored procedures and performance tuning.
  • Good communication, analysis and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates would also have working knowledge in any of the following skills:

  • C# technologies including LINQ, Entity Framework, MSTest/NUnit
  • Website development with HTML, ASP.NET, HTML5, Dot Net Nuke.
  • Integration middleware – IBM Integration Bus (Message Broker) and IBM Message Queue.
  • Javascript.
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of software delivery processes – ability to work both independently and in an agile team environment
  • IIS Administration.
  • HTTPS Transport Security X.509 Certificates, TLS, SSL.

  • Develop sales materials and artifacts
  • Meet sales and service goals and objectives set by management
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Participate in the development and review of new marketing/promotional pieces
  • Organize Sales Department participation in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
  • Work with development team to ensure promotion of products under development and maintain cutting edge understanding of industry
  • Prepare and present a variety of status reports on a weekly basis
  • Utilize Salesforce effectively and consistently for tracking and reporting all sales related activity
