Director of National Payer Account Management

Job Summary

The National Payer Account Executive is responsible for the development, growth, and service of National Payer Account relationships. This role utilizes deep healthcare, technical, and market knowledge to nurture existing relationships, identify areas of potential growth, and generate additional revenue opportunities for PNTdata.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leverage subject matter expertise and consultative skills to identify customer’s data exchange issues, recommending tailored solutions that meet their business needs driving success for both the client and PNT.
  • Engage directly with prospect to understand and solve technical and business challenges leveraging PNT data integration solutions capabilities.
  • Engage/assist in customer discovery and scoping discussions and leverage experience to articulate the right solutions to solve customers’ data problems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across all aspects of data coordination.
  • Participate and provide feedback on proposed Statements of Work and ensure alignment with customer’s business needs.
  • Administratively manage ongoing account relationships with defined customers.
  • Manage the partner/subcontractor relationships.
  • Create and manage customer focus groups, user forums, and vision summits as required.
  • Actively mine current customer relationships for new opportunities by establishing close relationships with key contacts and understanding PNT’s capacity for solutioning.
  • Monitor and identify market trends, competitors, and new sales leads.
  • Create and maintain trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders within existing account portfolio throughout sales cycle and post-sales to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize Salesforce to record quality interactions with assigned accounts.
  • Work with the technical team to ensure technical solution meets customer’s needs and is consistent with SOW.
  • Ensure all products delivered are consistent with SOW and business needs of customers.
  • Act as SME and support for escalated issues and knowledge-based requirements.
  • Legacy system support for operational needs of PNT.
  • Collaborate with financial team in pricing assessments.
  • Represent the company at approved speaking engagements at industry events and as a member of industry groups.
    • Track leads and partnership opportunities generated.
    • Follow-up with qualified opportunities within two weeks of the event.
  • This role will have access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and confidential information. All employees will be required to successfully complete and comply with company provided HIPAA Privacy and Security training annually.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of healthcare technology experience, particularly in a data exchange related field.
  • Deep experience understanding Payer processes and operations.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare claims processes, HIPAA and other regulatory initiatives.
  • Experience in consulting or consultative sales with an emphasis on relationship building and client retention.
  • Knowledge of best practices in Salesforce or another CRM, with the ability to generate relevant reporting.
  • Relentless focus on customer engagement.
  • Team player able to collaborate and communicate across constituencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Sales Executive

Job Summary

At PNT, the Sales Executive will implement the company’s growth strategy by actively soliciting prospects and obtaining new business for our products while also maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customer base where and when appropriate.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement sales short term and long term strategic plan
  • Collaborate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales
  • Contribute to the development of sales materials and artifacts
  • Meet sales and service goals and objectives set by management
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Participate in the development and review of new marketing/promotional pieces
  • Work with development team to ensure promotion of products under development and maintain cutting edge understanding of industry
  • Prepare and present status reports to VP of Sales as requested
  • Utilize Salesforce effectively and daily/weekly for tracking and reporting all sales related activity
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, competitive intelligence and/or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Inform management team of competitors’ activities and review market research studies. Recommend actions accordingly

Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful track record of B2B Managed Services sales
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare payer industry and in-depth knowledge of processes impacted by data movement.
  • Understanding of Saas, Cloud technology, and clinical data a plus
